Considerable education accomplishments including a PhD in law and extensive knowledge of the privacy, data governance, and artificial intelligence laws of three main jurisdictions—Canada, the United States, and the European Union

Extensive experience working as legal editor (First Reference), writing several online publications (Montreal AI Ethics Institute, First Reference Talks, Tech Policy Press, Slaw: Canada's Online Legal Magazine) and writing a PhD dissertation (Western Law) about privacy and surveillance

Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies (including AI and surveillance), along with privacy compliance issues arising in the consumer, employment, and health contexts

Experience working on agile teams providing strategic advice and leadership on policy and strategic issues to ensure effective planning, delivery and assessment of programs, policies, and services (Ontario Ministry of Health)
