This site is essentially an eportfolio—an opportunity for you to get to know me on a deeper level.

You’ll see that I have a PhD in law, with specialties in privacy and employment law. I like to examine these areas from legal, policy, and ethical perspectives.

​

I have been a legal editor, law professor, and senior policy advisor. I am looking forward to the next stage of my career, which I’m sure will have to do with technology, because I like to think about the implications of surveillance, artificial intelligence, and so forth.
